A project may involve different suppliers, different manufacturing regions, customization, samples, packaging, production schedules, quality requirements, consolidation, and export.
Our role is to help bring those pieces together.
Based in Yiwu, we work close to one of China's most active trading and sourcing ecosystems, while connecting customers with manufacturers and specialized supply chains across China.
We want our customers to have a reliable team on the ground — someone who understands what they are trying to buy and can help coordinate what happens between the initial request and the final shipment.

The story behind the name
Why Are We Called FOBYIWU?
People sometimes ask us:
“Yiwu is not a seaport. So why FOBYIWU?”
That question explains a lot about who we are.
Yiwu has been known for decades as one of China's most important sourcing and trading centers. But Yiwu today is more than a place to find products.
With the development of customs, container handling, inland-port and international logistics infrastructure, including the Suxi logistics hub, goods can be consolidated and handled in Yiwu before connecting with major international shipping gateways such as Ningbo-Zhoushan Port.

FOBYIWU is more than a domain name.
It represents how we believe sourcing from China should work.
International buyers should not need to feel that they are managing dozens of disconnected factories on their own.
Our goal is to become the customer's team on the ground in China — helping connect products, suppliers and manufacturing resources into one manageable sourcing project.
We are based in Yiwu, but our sourcing network is not limited to Yiwu.
We source where the right products are made, coordinate where the supply chain makes sense, and use Yiwu as our home base for connecting China with our customers around the world.
